Embrace the 7/8 trousers for women without hesitation

7/8 trousers for women are an absolute wardrobe essential. With their length above the ankle, they highlight your favorite shoes. Shorter than classic trousers, 7/8 styles are perfect for warm days, especially in spring and summer. Versatile, they come in many styles: casual or elegant, wide-leg or slim-fit, plain or printed, in cotton or denim… In fact, almost every trouser style is available in a cropped version. What’s more, 7/8 trousers flatter all body shapes—there’s definitely one made for you. In this selection, enjoy a wide range of colors from black to beige, including navy blue, pink, brown, and gray… Find your favorite and take advantage of free delivery to Caroll stores!

Which 7/8 trousers should you choose to complete your wardrobe?

7/8 trousers, also known as cropped trousers, offer the perfect balance between comfort and style. With a cut that sits just above the ankle, they create a modern and dynamic look. They can be straight-leg, fluid, carrot-fit, or paperbag… and are always available in various sizes and colors (black, white, beige, pink, fuchsia, printed…). These trousers are true chameleons that adapt to every occasion, from casual outfits to more formal looks. They can be worn with sneakers, ankle boots, or even heels to elongate the silhouette. The variety of cuts and fabrics (stretch, fluid, high-waisted…) makes 7/8 trousers a must-have in your wardrobe. Made from quality materials such as cotton and elastane, they ensure comfort and timeless style. Among the key styles, rely on chino trousers for a polished professional look, and on cigarette trousers for special occasions. Wide and flowy cuts are perfect for sunny days.

The must-have 7/8 jeans for women

Of course, jeans are also available in a 7/8 version. Go for a slim or skinny fit, close-fitting along the entire leg, or choose a more classic straight cut—elegant and timeless. Flare and bootcut styles, wider at the hem, add a retro touch. Boyfriend and girlfriend jeans offer a more relaxed fit. Mom jeans, with their high waist and slightly loose cut, bring a casual vintage vibe. For a utility-inspired look, opt for cargo-style jeans with their signature side pockets. Finally, the denim shade also matters: dark wash for a more modern look, or faded for added character.

How to wear 7/8 trousers?

7/8 trousers adapt to any occasion and style—the possibilities are endless! For example, choose high-waisted striped trousers paired with a silk blouse with a bow tie neck, heeled pumps, and a fitted beige trench coat. For a bohemian look, opt for flowy linen trousers in a terracotta shade, paired with a crochet or lace top, sandals, and a printed kimono. For a casual outfit, wear black faux leather 7/8 trousers with a graphic t-shirt, a blazer, and sneakers. For a feminine and chic style, choose navy wool trousers with a satin blouse, patent ankle boots, and a long peacoat. Pair black slim denim trousers with a long-sleeve bodysuit, a faux leather biker jacket, and knee-high boots for a subtle rock touch.

Even shorter than 7/8 trousers: capri trousers! They usually fall mid-calf, while 7/8 trousers are slightly longer. Caroll capri trousers are your best allies in summer, whether for city outings or beach days. Capri leggings (corsaires) are even shorter and tighter, making them ideal for sports or outdoor activities. To choose the right pair, consider the length, fit, and materials such as cotton, elastane, or linen for maximum comfort in summer.
